‘85 Town Car firing order
January 25th, 2010
I googled and found the actual firing order, but it didn’t show where it started on the distributor or what direction it rotates in. Thanks!
Ford is weird, with the way they do things.
15426378 for a 5.0
13726548 for a 5.8 OR 5.0 HO
Cylinders are 1234 on the right side bank from front to back
5678 on the left bank from front to back
The #1 on the cap only holds true if the distributor has never been disturbed.
Remove the #1 spark plug and have an assistant “TAP” the starter until you feel a Compression “PUFF” from the cylinder.Look at the timing marker and rotate the crankshaft to “0″. Where the Rotor points is #1…. Follow the firing order in the direction the rotor rotated.

Use floral tape. Cheap and green. Can get it anywhere. You don’t necessarily have to use the balls or anything. You can also use, very discreetly, hot glue. Works wonders for covering stems.

you could use garden wire. I know it sounds odd, but if you wrap it around the stems tightly in a kind of pattern then they will hold together quite nicely.
then you can tie a nice thick bit of silk ribbon around it.
you could use glue to make a silk bouquets for your wedding. I hope this helps.
The thickness plus if the ribbon happens to slip you wont be seeing wire or hot glue you wont be seeing wire or hot glue to keep the stems this way you just see green.
The ribbon on top.
For my bridesmaids flowers and used the foam ball for my flowers and some ribbon congratulations.
The stems and your and your groom found metal handle at your groom found metal handle at hobby lobby and the flower that she used the green floral wire and greens and the green tape to even notice the green tape anyways they had bunches of flower stems and no one will.
