AVG8 installation problems

Hi i’m new here and i want some help on a problem i’m having. I installed AVG 8.0 and whenever i tried to start up the Tray icon or the user interface it gives me this error “C:\Program Files\AVG\AVG8\avgtray.exe This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.” and I’ve Re-installed it several times and now I’m pretty frustrated.

When you’ve tried to reinstall it, were you given an option to do a repair? If you don’t uninstall the version you have and go to reinstall it from the site, you should be given this option.
