Creeping Charlie – Best Weed Spray
What is the best weed spray to effectively get rid of Creeping Charlie? I have used Ortho Weed Be Gone Maxforce and it seems to give it a headache but not completely kill it. If anyone can give me some good advice on something that would be a bit meaner, it would be greatly appreciated!!
Weed B Gone Max works for me here in central Indiana. I have neighbors on three sides that do not treat their lawn in any way. I am always battling the “weed of the month” in one form or another.
Creeping Charlie is about the worst one to keep at bay. I say keep at bay since I have never found a way to defeat it totally. I have to watch, when I weed wack our fence line any CC that comes from the other side will try to take root.
Two years ago I bought the WBG Max in the hose end spray bottle. I applied it early in the year and it did a great job all year. Since then I have bought the gallon size pre mix and I walk my lawn about once a week to spot treat it. There is no rest with this weed..
Now I have to start battling the Crabgrass again. I had it whipped I thought, relaxed this year and wham there it was again.
Always something it seems.
