dryer wont shut off

the timer will not move to the next number to shut its self off it just keeps on runing this happens on the regular cycle as well as the permernant clycle.it will shut off if it is set less than 20 menints on permernant press cycle.
The first thing I would do is make sure the exhaust line is clear and all air ducts inside the dryer are not clogged.
The model number you posted does not come up and I’m not able to provide more accurate advise.
