Ge Washer won’t stop filling- overflows

Our washer will not stop filling, it over flows. This did not happen all at once, it over flowed than next time filled ok, than overflowed than next time filled ok etc. It did this for about a week, now it overflows all the time.
The next time it overfills……Pull the plug out of the wall.
If it keeps filling, even with the machine unplugged, The fill valve is stuck and needs replacement. If the water stops filling with the machine unplugged, Suspect water level/ pressure sensor, Or a damaged hose between the “Air Bell” and Pressure transducer.The damaged hose becomes more likely if the machine has been recently “Dissasembled ” or serviced.
