herb garden

I really don’t have much of a green thumb, but I would love to start a herb garden.
What is the simplest way to do this, and which herbs are easiest to grow/look after?
flower pots on the window seal, most herbs are fairly easy to grow, I personaly grow chives because they are so easy.
try different ones but most succesfull will probably be something that you use fresh like parsley, chives, etc.
