Kenmore 110.60902990 – Premature Shutoffulation
My trusty old Kenmore 110.60902990 (purchased in early 2000) shuts off before the cycle completes. Both the “auto moisture sensing” and normal heat cycles will cut off after about 15-20 minutes.
I know the heater element works, since the clothes will still be hot when it stops. Also, I have checked the vent on the outside of the house while it is running, and plenty of hot air is blowing forth. And yes, the drum turns normally.

After stopping can you immediately start it back up? My mom had the same dryer and it did this very thing I ended up taking it apart and cleaning the biggest wad of lint from around trhe motor you’ve ever seen.. (these are very prone for lint trouble) it gets around the motor and holds the heat in and trpis the overload after it cools it kicks back in. good luck…check back
