Motherboard

November 26th, 2009

Hi all, I have a prob with NO sound on my MB.It stopped yesterday. I thot it may be the drivers so I reloaded them with no diff. I then did a reformat and reloaded with same results. I tried my speakers from this PC on my other rig and they work fine. Speakers from other rig do not work on this one either.
Can the MB be repaired ? If not, where can I get one. I did some searches but yet can’t find one.
PCCHIPS P23G Celron LGA 775 V1
Thanks for any and all help

Doubt that it is the motherboard. Have to ask the obvious question is the sound muted? Check volume control. Right click “My Computer” then to “Properties” “Hardware” “Device Manager”, scroll down to Sound click + sign what is shown under Sound submenu???
