no pressure

October 27th, 2009

I am NOT a plumber. I am a single mom. lol
I have no pressure, hot or cold. There is no change when running multiple outlets.
My well is approximately 100ft from the pump. My pump is a 1.5hp. I don’t know where to start. Everything seems to be working.
The pump does kick in immediately when the water is turned on, that’s not normal is it?
Any suggestions are appreciated.

What do you mean by “there is no change while running muliple outlets”? Do you mean only one faucet has no pressure regardless of what happens elsewhere, or that none of the faucets have pressure. If it is just this faucet then something on it, probably the aerator on the end of the spout, is plugged up. We would have to know what is happening at the other faucets and how soon the pump starts after you open a faucet, as starters, to diagnose any other problem.
