Noise from brake I think..

The noise is a kind of popping. I hear it when I brake no matter what the speed, then I hear it again when taking off. The front wheels can be turned or straight and I still hear it. The noise seems to be coming from the left(passenger) side. Any thoughts? 03 Nissan Sentra SER 2.5L
check for worn bushings or shims in the caliper mount.
I would think a worn shock mount or swaybar link could do this.
Either that or maybe your front rotor is not flat, try getting them turned.
