pipe pitch or giant clog?

November 27th, 2009

hi all, i again snaked as much of my pipes/main drain as i can possibly get w/$25 snake. feels like im hitting a bend now.(where tub drain hits the main)i then snaked where my washer drains into a pvc pipe into main drain(my only main drain access), again no avail. could my problem be in the septic system? it is a 2 yr old pump up system. it hasnt been pumped as far as i know of, however it is only used by 2 adults. can that be the culprit? is it my hard water narrowing the drain? or do i ante up and let a pro try their magic?

We cannot tell because we have not seen the symptoms and have not gone after the clog with our professional grade equipment. I would strongly recommend hiring a pro! We usually get done within an hour or, 2 what the DIYer can’t do in a week or, 2.

You gave it your best shot! If it makes you feel any better a plumber that does drain cleaning usually finds it very tough for about the first year in the field.
