plumbing fittings
I have a house with just a 4″ drain sticking up through the concrete in the basement. I need to tie into it and make runs for a toilet, tub, bath sink, kitchen sink and a wash machine that is in the basement. Everthing is on the first floor except the wash machine wich stays in the basement. My biggest concern is do I stack all the fittings on top of each other tied into the drain in the floor or do I wye off as much as possible to make all the runs. The drain sticks up about 18″ through the floor and everything is right above it to tie into except for the wash machine and the kitchen sink wich is about a 20′ run to it.
This four inch pipe??How is it terminated right now?Female with a plug? What is this floor open dirt?Is it already under cement other than this pipe? How high is the ceiling above, floor truss system? How many other floors above? How any plumbing fixtures above that will stay? How many different main pipes come down to the main now? Is there a future vent through the roof?As I think you have guessed by now more questions than answers.Good Luck.A print of what is there ,where you want to get would help.Pictures work some times.
