Problem with blk iron unions

I seem to have a problem getting unions to seal. 300 lbs unions 2″ I’ve been putting never cease on the threads and that don’t seem to help. Anyone got more tricks?

there are a lot of cheep Taiwan and they are crap . i use pipe dope on the threads and on the in side of the union

where is the leak coming from is it coming from the back side of the union nut then it could be the seat
