Repair Delta Single-handle Shower Faucet??

The escutcheon plate on this says
Delta Monitor-numbers stamped on plastic is 31125.
This unit drips about every 30 seconds.
How do I take this mother apart w/out destroying it?
What type of washers or gaskets will I find?

After turning the water off to the house (of course), undo the chrome ring and the cartridge will slide out. There are o rings inside that you can replace. You may find a Delta repair kit at a big box or plumbing supply house for that model number. Or take the cartridge with you for an exact match.
