Hey hope someone can help.
What’s happening is our air pressure tank for our well is kicking on way to often. A plumber put air in the tank that wasn’t it and there was no water in the tank so we assume it is not the bladder of the tank. We now have dug up our well and had a plumber change the foot valve (today). Tonight we noticed it coming back on still. The plumber says there may be air pockets and will come back tomorrow. Just in case I need more options because if not he said he may not be sure what it is. We have also thought there may be a leak underground in pipes, but we dug up the lawn and dirt is as dry as a bone. We also turned water off to inside to make sure leak was not in the house and the pressure on the tank still continues to fall. Anyone please help.
You could have a small leak on the pipe that is in your well prior to the foot valve and you will never see the leak because it only leaks in the well, this small leak will cause your problem. I change out the pipe from the foot valve to the pit less adapter which solves the short cycling you are noticing.

My pressure tank is set for 40-60 lb. We have to have it repressurized every few years, but other than that it seem to operate well and we have good water pressure. Lately, the last couple weeks, when my submersible pump turns on I hear a low but loud gurgling sound from inside the pressure tank. Shortly after that, when I turn on a faucet or flush the toilet I get sputtering and the sound of air in my lines that eventually stops. Water I pour is cloudy at first but clears up quickly. Water pressure is still good and pump switch still operates fine. Anyone have any suggestions?
Depending on the type pressure tank you have it may be a broken bladder in a prepressurized pressure tank. Or too much air in a ‘air over water’ style tank. But more likely IMO you have a submersible pump and there’s something wrong with it or you’re sucking air. Are you in a drought condition? Possibly the static water level or pumping level of the well has fallen so much that the pump is having a tough time moving water now (the total dynamic head would be increased to the limit of the pump). The pump could be cavitating, you could have methane in the water or a leak in the plumbing allowing air to be sucked into the water. Especially if you have a jet pump. IMO you need a pump guy or well driller to check things out for you.

My kitchen sink has been clogged up for a couple of days now. This has happened before in the past, maybe 8 months or more, to where I had to use the hose and a bladder in the trap. Well, I figured that this was the same situation so I broke out the tools and commenced to battling the trap monster. To make a long story short, it didn’t work this time and somehow or another I proceeded to flood my laundry room. I also noticed water outside in my carport area. Not sure what to do this time around, due to the sinks still being clogged and the end part of my house smelling like a rotten decayed feet. The water in the sink will go down with time, only to fill back up when the water is run or the dishwasher is draining. Any help at all will be greatly appreciated. None of the other drains in the house are clogged and the washer drains just fine.
90% of kitchen sink clogs are at the wall elbow and nipple, not in the trap. Yours sounds like it is down further. A $35 drill power auger(15-25′ long) will clear most clogs, once you have the trap removed. I would suggest that it might be time to call a pro. Yes, it will likely be expensive, maybe $300, but it will be done and working.
