A doctor can’t do much in a garden but sunny Mexico outgrows weeds fast. Please send me as much info as you can even tools for starting out I can see grass with roots over the ground and the soil is hard do I have to dig into it? how deep? I want to start now the rainy season has started and I want it to work with my lawn Thanks a lot!!

Hi
1.You will need to kill the weeds before any seeds are planted. You could get a weed killer from the hardware store, weed b gone, and attach to your hose and apply, if you want to do it yourself.
2.You can also hire a lawn care company to do the work for you.If you go this route, theymight suggest killing the whole area, then tilling, and reseeding. Another sugestion would be to get a company to give an estimate for the work, then you wil be able to see if it is a job you would want to do or hire it out to someone
3.After the weeds are dead and you wait the required amount of time that it states on the label, I would recommend that you rent a slit-seeder, from a rental store, and apply the seed to rates on the selected seed package of seed, also a starter fertilizer should be applied at this tims. You would need to plant the seed that grows well in your area.THE WATERING OF NEWLY PLANTED SEEDS IS IMPORTANT.I would recommend getting the seed from a nursery rather than a store chain, the seeds are better quality. Then you would plant the seed at the best time for germination of the seeds.
4. After the lawn is growing, you will need to fertilize, at first I would suggest that if you do it yourself, you hire a lawn fertilizing company to apply the fertilizer at proper times, so the root system can be estabilished, and you will be able to enjoy a lush lawn,
GOOD LUCK

Conduit cleaning

February 24th, 2010

I’m about ready to start installing EMT in my attic for a wiring project.
Several of the 1/2″ through 1″ sticks I plan to use have been stored outdoors. I know – not a real good idea.
I pulled a small rag through each and discovered what appeared to be rust, dirt, and a couple of bugs.
What would be a good way to clean and maybe rustproof the ID? I suspect that a petroleum based cleaner/coater is probably not good due to the possible deterioration of the THWN insulation.

You could wash it out with the garden hose then pull the rag through. A compressed air blow gun works well too.
Use an approve wire lubricant; available in the electrical aisle.

Allow More Undos

September 11th, 2009

SUMMARY: Allow PowerPoint 2007 to remember more operations so you can undo them if necessary.

When editing Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 presentations, if you make a mistake typing text, changing formatting, or resizing a photo, or if you just want to go back a step, you can hit the undo button in the Quick Access Toolbar. Alternatively, you can press Ctrl + Z. Or Alt + E then U.

By default, PowerPoint will remember up to the last 20 operations. However, what if you would like PowerPoint to remember even more so you can undo large amounts of editing? Perform the following tweak:

1. Click the “Office” button.

2. When the popup appears, click “PowerPoint Options”.

3. The “PowerPoint Options” dialog box appears. Select “Advanced” in the left pane.

4. Next to “Maximum number of undos”, enter a value from 3 to 150. Note that as you increase the number you may increase PowerPoint’s memory, hard drive, and/or CPU usage.

5. Click “OK” on the dialog box to close it.
