Vaccum works but no Suction

I have a medium Eureka vacum cleaner. every thing seems to be working but there is no suction. It will not pick a strand of hair. I have cleaned the dust cap and every thing looks clean but without any suction. The motor runs fine. Your ideas will be appriciated.
Are you using a hose or the floor part? Either way you have something stuck between pick up and bag. Small chance of impeller comming off shaft but I think you would hear loud noises.
you dont need surgery to loose weight…just cut down on beer, food and start exercising like a crazy person!!!
