Venting Issue??
Hey there.
So while redecorating my bathroom I realized that the second pedestal sink (we have two side by side about a foot apart) put in by the previous owner is clearly more than 6ft from the existing main drain/vent pipe.
Having wondered why we occasionally get a faint drainage smell in the room, and having read some books/articles about venting I know the sink should really be within 6ft??
What are my options? Should I place a Studor Valve or similar between the two sinks (on the drain)??
Would really appreciate help before I start making holes!!

It’s a little more complicated than that. The sinks could be far away from the stack, and still be vented.
